What we are developing

For Collection 01, soft handfeel, stretch, recovery, opacity and clean drape are development priorities. Four-way stretch and other technical targets are not presented as verified performance claims until testing is complete.

Construction before decoration

The Sculpt Legging uses no-front-seam construction as a defining Phase 1 design direction. The focus is a clean front line, considered waistband and pattern-led shape rather than decorative contouring or oversized branding.

What gets checked

Development review covers handfeel, stretch and recovery, opacity, pilling, colourfastness, stitching, fit and garment behaviour. Product-specific results will be disclosed only when the approved fabric lot and finished samples support them.

What remains to be confirmed

Final fibre composition, percentages, GSM, approved care instructions, opacity wording, support level and any performance language remain product-specific approval items. Where a product page shows development targets, they are clearly labelled as such.

No invented claims

VELOUSTI does not use squat-proof, sweat-wicking, recycled, sustainable or other technical/environmental claims unless they are supported by the finished garment, supplier evidence or appropriate testing.
